UNY launches ESSENTIEL, the first used blade recycling programme in France.

ESSENTIEL was born from our desire to do better and provide a more responsible alternative to disposable razors for people who, like us, are not fans of safety razors.
Since our creation, we have been committed to minimizing our environmental impact and finding solutions to reduce the programmed obsolescence of products or their recycling.
Creating a more durable metal handle was not enough, we wanted to go further by recycling the blades to transform them.
This program seemed essential for today and tomorrow.

How does it work?
STEP 1
When ordering, order your envelope to deposit your used blades with THEIR UNY BLADE GUARDS (10 blades minimum)
STEP 2
Put your stamped envelope in the letterbox and we collect the blades and send them to the recycling plant
STEP 3
The blades are crushed and the materials sorted and sent to the appropriate factories for recycling of each material: rubber, steel, plastic
STEP 4
The various materials are then processed for use in other industries
